Day 9

Plyometrics: 1 hour of intense moves in short 30 second bursts. Lots of squats, lunges, jumps and quick moves. If you are a basketball player, many of these moves will be easy for you. It works calves, quads, glutes and core with some isometrics for the arms.

I love this workout! I am drenched in sweat and feel like I got a great workout. Heart rate was definitely up. I think this workout will continue to excellent even as my fitness improves because you can always take each exercise up a notch to really feel the burn. And my sore ab area didn't hurt once today. I will try the ab workout tomorrow as scheduled.

Tony Horton is a hyper motor mouth with very little natural rhythm. Not only is this series about muscle confusion, it's about general confusion if you try to follow his rhythm! As soon as I don't need to hear the instructions in order to do the moves correctly, he will be on MUTE! Watch the women on the videos- they are much easier to follow.

Thoughts on diet: I needed the extra calories last night (1950 total for the day). I slept great and woke up without an empty tank. I BROUGHT IT today!
