Today was back to the beginning of the sequence- chest and back and then ab ripper.
I now know why they call it ab ripper. It literally rips your abs. At least that's what mine feels like today. It feels like I have ripped a muscle! Hence difficulty with push-ups.
I tried to do the ab ripper workout but half a move and I knew that I would have to skip it today.
Oh well.
And I need to eat more calories. 1450 calories yesterday left my tank empty this morning. I felt weak today doing chest and back. I could'nt even do as many reps as last week on my first day.
On a positive note, I jumped out of bed at 5:30 wide awake. Hopefully my energy level will continue like this all day.
I'm looking forward to getting back to running. I know that my running will improve so much as I lose weight and get stronger. My running has slowly suffered because I haven't done any weight training in the last few years.
Breakfast is a 6 egg white with mushrooms and onion scramble topped with a little paremesan cheese.
I craved a glass of red wine last night! I stared into the liquor cabinet looking for a drop but alas, we drank every drop of red wine during the holidays! I think I sleep better and have more energy when I don't imbibe.

Ive had a couple days like that as well! I try to add a little more complex carbs in the morning and that really seems to work out. KEep up the good work and keep pushing play!
